BOOKS SOLD The Robbinsdale books, by member Pete Richie, are selling well. We have sold close to 200 and have ordered fifty more which, Diane said are great for holiday giving. (Two hundred books sold means $1700 in earnings for our Historical Society.) Pete has also finished a book about Breezy Point will be in print very soon.

ROBBINSDALE CALENDARS FOR 2016 by Alison Nguyen are now available. Alison’s drawings of Robbinsdale businesses are “keep sakes” and profits will go towards the “Save the Terrace” project.

LIBRARY FLOOR REFINISHING has been completed. Diane announced it should bring back memories for many who used the Library as children and we should come and take a look.

THANKS WERE GIVEN to: Dodie for being at the “sign-in” table, Don Gavic, John Fischer, Dodie Dougherty and Joel Peterson for our treats today.

NEXT MEETING DATE IS MARCH 22, 2016. Suggestions for programs are welcome and appreciated.

TODAY’S PROGRAM:  “Save The Terrace” chairpersons, David and Alycia Leonhardt who have given much time and research into this project. The Leonhardts showed pictures of the Terrace Theater in all its original grandeur and how it looks today. They said their hopes are for  a Historical  Preventation similar to other local theaters and that eventually to be used for  movies, theater, graduations, and other events.

There were approximately twenty-one persons in attendance this day.
