The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Treasurer’s Report stated that we are $200.00 “in the black”.

Diane said our membership has grown to 145 member and reminded member and those wishing to become members that $15.00 dues can be paid by sending a check to the Robinsdate Historical Societv at 4915 42nd Avenue North, Robbinsdale MN 55422. She also said that The City Hall has our membership fist and is making a new roster for us that should be available soon.

The day’s treats were provided by Suzie Klatke. Diane thanked her for us. (Doug Blumb volunteered to provide treats for the September meeting.) She also thanked Corrine Jones for helping set up and to Dode for being at the Sign-in table. Also thanked were those who set up the meeting space.

Whiz Bang Days are coming up July 7, 8 and 9. Sunday the 9th is the parade. All ideas are welcome (and urged!)

This was our last meeting for the first part of this year. Our next meeting will be September 26th. A reminder was given that our Museum is open every Friday and Saturday, 10 am until 3:30 pm. Coffee and treats are always available.

Guest speaker for this meeting was David Osterhus of Osterhus Printing which has been a landmark business for 105 years. David, a graduate of Robbinsdale High School in 1951 said the beginnings were in 1901 by the Rev. C.S. Osterhus who was healed from tuberculosis and lived exactly 30 years more. He wanted to do more that preach so he started a correspondence and tract ministry which grew into the present business.

This meeting was attended by approximately 21 persons. Carolyn Lageson, Secretary
